Make the Most of Your Port Day

Everything you need to know before you step off the ship.

Check your all-aboard time first

Before booking, confirm your ship's all-aboard time. Build in 60–90 minutes of buffer. We'll schedule your tour to get you back with time to spare.

You arrive by tender boat

Cabo has no cruise pier — ships anchor offshore and tender passengers to the dock. The tender landing is right next to Marina Mercado, 53 meters from land tour pickup.

Book direct, not through the ship

Cruise lines mark up shore excursions 30–50%. We're the same local operators — book direct and save an average of 20% vs. third-party platforms.

Instant confirmation

Book online and get instant confirmation with your meeting point, what to bring, and our direct contact number. No waiting, no uncertainty.

Why Not Just Book Through the Ship?

Cruise lines act as middlemen — they book the same local tours and add a 30–50% markup. You're paying for their overhead, not a better experience.

Cruise Passenger FAQ

Everything cruise passengers ask us — answered honestly.

How early should I book my shore excursion?

As soon as your cruise itinerary is confirmed — ideally 2–4 weeks before your port day. Popular tours like the ATV, clearboat, and pirate cruise sell out fast, especially during peak season (November–April). Booking direct with us means instant confirmation and no waiting on a ship excursion desk.

What if my ship is delayed or arrives late?

We monitor ship schedules and work with you. If your ship is delayed, contact us as soon as you know — we'll do our best to reschedule your tour to a later time slot the same day. If we can't accommodate, you'll receive a full refund. Our real support team is reachable by phone and email, not a chatbot.

What if my ship cancels the Cabo port stop?

It happens — weather and sea conditions occasionally cause itinerary changes. If your ship skips Cabo entirely, we issue a full refund, no questions asked. Just let us know as soon as you hear from the ship.

How far is the pier from the tour meeting points?

Cruise ships in Cabo anchor offshore — you'll arrive by tender boat, which drops you at the tender dock right next to Marina Mercado. Land tour pickup is at Marina Mercado, literally 53 meters from where you step off the tender. For marina water tours (snorkeling, clearboat, whale watching, cruises), you can walk the marina from there or hop a short water taxi.

Is transportation from the pier included?

For all land-based tours (Cactus Tours, Picacho Adventures, Canopy Costa Azul), round-trip transportation is included — pickup is at Marina Mercado, 53 meters from the tender dock. Marina water tours (snorkeling, clearboat, cruises, whale watching) depart from the marina, which is a short walk or water taxi from the tender landing. We'll send exact meeting point details with your confirmation.

How much time do I need back on the ship?

We always recommend being back at the pier at least 60–90 minutes before your ship's all-aboard time. When you book, tell us your all-aboard time and we'll build a tour schedule that gets you back with time to spare. Ships do not wait — we take this seriously.

Can I book the day I arrive in port?

Sometimes, yes — but we can't guarantee availability. Last-minute bookings are subject to tour capacity. For the best selection and guaranteed spots, book in advance. If you're already in port, call us at 1-855-422-2638 and we'll see what we can do.

Are your tours better than the ship's excursions?

We're biased, but yes — and here's why: ship excursions are marked up 30–50% by the cruise line. We're the same local operators, same guides, same experiences — booked direct. You save an average of 20% vs. Expedia and similar platforms, and you get real local support instead of a call center.

What's the cancellation policy for cruise passengers?

Free cancellation more than 24 hours before your tour. If your ship changes its itinerary or you have an emergency, contact us — we handle cruise passengers with flexibility. Full details are on our Cancellation Policy page.
